Retaliation

Plot
Doctor Alfred Scribings made a genetic dream come true. He found a way to alter jeans of fertilized eggs so they would be perfect. No more diseases or unwanted traits. He could even advance certain genetic traits if wanted. He found out how to make them what society deemed as ‘perfect’. But perfection was expensive.
The price of ‘perfection’ caused a rift to appear in society. Only the rich could afford it, and soon it separated their children from the rest. The upper society was “perfect” and over the generations caused the lower society to be treated like dirt. Adults teach their kids that they are better than the lower society from a young age, almost like brain washing them.
Now, a few decades later, the lower society has decided that they are done with the treatment that they are receiving. And so the retaliation against perfection began.

Setting
Riverside, a large city right off the coast of nothing. A pretty isolated place. Once you find it, you never leave. And as of lately, none have found it. Just the same families living in the same large, unknown city.
There is the upper class society of Riverside. Every house is large; every yard is perfect with the grass a wonderful shade of green. This is ‘paradise’. This is where the best schools, the best jobs, and the best of almost everything is. This is where perfection happens.
The lower society on the other hand is the slums of this city. People scrape by with what they have, get whatever money they can from whatever jobs are left over and unwanted by the upperclass. Schools are mediocre, at best. There are few places for kids to hang out in a ‘safe’ environment. And teens learn from a young age that you do what you need to, to survive. It isn’t easy living in the lower society, but once you are down this low, it is nearly impossible to get out.

Difference between Upper society and lower society
The people from the upper society never get sick, are usually more fit and ‘pretty’ than the lower society, and rarely see a hard day in their life. They are ‘perfection’ in a body. They have brains, strength, and beauty.
The lower society citizens are what used to be average. They rarely beat an upper society citizen in anything. But because standards have changed and the average people are now deemed as nearly worthless. The idea that society has come to is that if the lower society dies out, then their race of people will be supreme and above all others.
Most (as in almost all) of the upper society has been taught and raised to hate the lower society and think of them as scum. Remember that when making your bio's please.

Character bio
Name of character
Age of character
Upper or lower class
Appearance ( either detailed description, a picture, or both. Lower society will have some flaws in their looks, so what you could do is find a picture, and if it looks too ‘perfect’ add in some of the flaws the person might have.)
Personality
History (doesn’t have to be too much, but just to give a feeling of how the character came to be)

My characters
Name of character: Adie (Ah-dee)
Age of character: 17
Upper or lower class: Lower Class
Appearance
Adie:
Only without the tattoos on her wrists and the makeup. Has a few scars along the tops of her hands and arms from getting into fights on the street. Is under weight to the point you can see a few of her ribs but not awfully bad. Always wears a dark hoody and cargo pants as well as combat boots. Over those outfits, she has a long black leather trench coat that has been in her family for years.
Personality Has a pretty rough exterior. Doesn’t let many people get in and get to know her. Adie doesn’t think of herself as a born leader, but is tired of the upper society. Hates them and hates how they treat people like her. Can come off as cold and uncaring, but if you do manage to make you way into her heart, she will do anything she can to protect you. As part of her way to survive, she will present herself as whatever she thinks the person she is talking to her wants her to be if it will get her what she wants.
History Her mom died shortly after giving birth to her leaving her dad to raise her. He did the best he could, but raising a child in the lower society is hard as a single parent. As she got older, she started to help her dad where she could. She worked on the streets doing small jobs for businesses until she turned fifteen and got a real job. Before her real job, she would sneak up to the upper society and do whatever small chores she could there. She did everything short of selling her body and soul.
But all the working took her away from learning and academics. She was never the brightest in school to start off, but she was street smart. She knew how to survive. She didn’t buy anything she didn’t have to, she stood her ground when school or street fights came up, and she made it known that she was not one to mess with.
A few weeks before her seventeenth birthday, she was going through an old closet in her house to try to find some of her mom’s old clothing so she wouldn’t have to go out and buy more. There she found the trench coat and the combat boots. She also found old doctor’s bills and her mom’s journal from her pregnancy. After reading some of the passages, she realized that her mom’s death could have been avoided if the doctor from the upper society and come like her father had apparently asked. This is what sparked her need to cause the retaliation.

I will add in an upper society person as well, but probably a bit later.

Do you want me to add an upper class or a lower class?

Either or... Or both. Doesn't really matter. If you add an upper, please remember the hatred of the lowers that they hold

Character bio
Name of character: Chance
Age of character:19
Lower class
Appearance: Chance has a well built body from the hard labor he does for money. His dark black hair sticks up every which way, and his hazle eyes rarely show happiness. He has a scar that runs from the corner of his right eye, down to the back of his neck, and then to the bottom of his shoulder blade. It's an ugly scar with little lines running through it proving that he stitched it up himself. On his left bicept is a hand-drawn tattoo of a curling, black design.
Personality: Chance is a vewry hard worker. He knows the value of labor and how lucky he is to even have a job. But 'he's cold. Growing up the way he has has left him without much to be happy for. There's no one he holds close to him, no one that he looks out for but himself.
History: When Chance was younger, his father beat him and his mother. His mother was tired of selling herself to other men to pay the bills, and Chance's father 'wasn't going to have her quit. So he started to beat her. It got to the point where she was on the brink of death. At 12 years old, Chance tried to protect her. He took a knife to his father, but his father took it from him and gave him the scar he has today. He killed his mother with it. That night, Chance turned it back onto his dad while he was sleeping. He's been by his self ever since.

I'll make an upper class later on in the story
